Unitarian Universalism has always been a part of my identity and my communities. I was raised UU in central Massachusetts in a small congregation, where I felt deeply known, connected, and supported by the adults around me. I felt a call to ministry in high school, and again in college as I deepened my own faith through young adult groups, campus ministry, and participation in Unitarian Universalism beyond the church of my childhood.

I moved to Boston for college, where I became involved in local activism, and I graduated from Simmons College with a degree in Women & Gender Studies in 2010. I then went on to study at Andover Newton Theological School and earned a Masters in Divinity in 2013, with a Certificate in Pastoral Care and Counseling. During that time, I was part of the founding team of the Lucy Stone Cooperative, an intentional housing community in Roxbury grounded in the values and tradition of Unitarian Universalism. I lived at the Lucy Stone Cooperative from 2011-2018.

After a 2 year parish ministry internship in Winchester, MA, I was ordained in 2014. Since 2014, I have served as the Minister of Faith Formation at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn.

In my ministry, I am passionate about ritual and worship, social justice, relationships and pastoral care, and faith formation (which is so much more than classes for children!). I have a deep love for Unitarian Universalism, and am so grateful for the ways that I have been nurtured and shaped by UU communities throughout my life. I am called to help shape that transformative experience of community, meaning-making, and spirituality for others. I love facilitating groups, crafting rituals for communities to go deeper together in worship, and the rich connections of congregational life.

Beyond ministry, I enjoy pottery, gardening, spending time outside, board games, raising monarch butterflies, singing, and spending time with my partner, Justin. I moved to Roslindale in 2018, where I co-own a large 2-family house with 4 other adults and a five-year-old (my housemate-family). I have two cats, Sparrow and Phoenix, and an excessive number of houseplants.
